Thriller by Michael Jackson
Jun 29 2026

Wow. This album is so good. I've never heard an album that has so many banger good songs. It's literally one after another. I knew most of the songs but the ones I didn't know I now really like and will be listening to more. Like Baby Be Mine and The Girl is Mine with Paul McCartney. The one song I didn't like is The Lady in My Life. While I like the message, it doesn't have enough groove or energy for me, but it is a nice song.

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Jun 30 2026

I like this album. It's a really nice vibe and Distant Lover is beautiful. But that's just it. I feel this album is great for setting a mood and listening to in the background, with how smooth it flows. But its not really something I would choose a song to listen to, except for maybe distant lover.

Green by R.E.M.
Jul 01 2026

At first I was a bit disappointed. I knew R.E.M were a good band and I hadn't heard of this album so I was excited to listen to it. But as teh songs progressed I didn't feel the cohesive excitement and energy I usually feel when I listen to an album. I also felt as I was listening that the songs had a meaning that I couldn't decipher, from lack of context or knowledge. So after I finished it I did a bit of research and found out this was the album that R.E.M debuted with Warner Brothers, they were all turning 30 and suddenly had a wider global audience which meant they could use their platform. All of this ultimately led to this experimental album and the non-cohesiveness of the entire album is explained by their own feelings of uncertainty with all these changes. My favourites are Orange Crush and Stand. But I feel the more I listen to it, the more I will have more favourites. Edit: I actually really like Turn You Inside Out too.

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Jul 02 2026

Not my favourite artist. I knew the name but I don't like the music, it feels a bit outdated to me and not really my style

Synchronicity by The Police
Jul 03 2026

Wow. This is such a cool album. While I love the classic like "Every breath you take", I really love the experimental and harmonies of synchronicity 1 and 2. It's so cool and exactly my vibe and similar to the music ive made. Mother was a little traumatic for me haha, but overall really cool experimental album

Beauty And The Beat by The Go-Go's
Jul 05 2026

I like it a lot, but there's not that many stand out songs. I really like "We got the beat" and "Fading Fast". Automatic ia pretty cool and seems to be underrated when looking at the stream numbers. There's just no wow factor of the album, its all a bit mid

Technique by New Order
Jul 05 2026

Wow what a funky album. I really like the vibe. Didn't know the artist but will try to listen to more of them

Heroes by David Bowie
Jul 07 2026

Wow. David Bowie is a mastermind at music. He makes these combinations of music that you think wow, that works in the coolest way. obviously I know heroes but I really liked "Beauty and the Beast" and "Joe the Lion". What surprised me is the no lyric songs at the end, like "Sense of Doubt", "Moss Garden" and "Neukölln". I had no clue David Bowie made songs like this.

Floodland by Sisters Of Mercy
Jul 08 2026

Pretty cool album. Not entirely my style but can appreciate the guitar

The Modern Lovers by The Modern Lovers
Jul 09 2026

I has teenage boy band vibes. I like the vibe.

Sunshine Hit Me by The Bees
Jul 10 2026

Wow what a great album. It’s so chill and happy, I’ve listened to it three times today, all for different occasions. First time to listen to it, second time to show a friend the funky ambience and harmonies, third as perfect background music for a conversation. Definitely getting this on CD

The Stooges by The Stooges
Jul 12 2026

1969: even though the chord progression is the same, it’s still pretty captivating. I think I need remember that when I make songs, they don’t have to be complex, simple is sometimes better
