1001 Albums Summary

Some of these songs have been with me my entire life and will continue to be. Others are duds, and the back half drags a bit. He does look like Frankenstein's monster on the cover.

I've never found this album particularly interesting, like the band started focusing on all of the musical ideas I liked the least from OK Computer. Still some good things here, the singles stand out and Wolf at the Door was a nice surprise right at the end.

His voice is maybe the worst here of any Neil Young. Hey Hey/My My are both bangers, Powderfinger is also very good, and then there's also a song called Ride My Llama, which could feasibly have been a mid-2000s meme.

I've never been overly fussed about Queen's albums, so I'd never actually listened to this before. Some of the songs are interesting but most feel disposable. Love Killer Queen tho.

It's fine. Early Bee Gees just don't have the sauce yet, like someone playing Stayin Alive acoustic. Israel has aged poorly also.

Huge disconnect between reputation and what I heard here. I think I just don't care for this sort of low key soundscape stuff. Didn't dislike it! Just not for me.
