The first half is kind of painfully irritating but second blew it out of the water.
Opposite of Bad (1987). Starts REALLY strong, ends okay.
Pretty middle of the ground? It left a stronger impression on me than lyrically, which is the opposite of usual. Good guitar. Heartbreak albums aren’t my thing i guess. Love Interruption was good.
Blue Orchid - firmly eh. The Nurse - I didn’t like it but it caught my interest. My Doorbell - Liked some of the gimmick and the rhythm. Forever for Her (Is Over For Me) - Okay. Little Ghost - Fun!! The Denial Twist - Enjoyable. White Moon - Marginally better than Blue Orchid. Instinct Blues - Okay again. Passive Manipulation - Really could use better delivery. Take, Take, Take - I really like Rita as a name. Besides that, felt like I got something from this one. As Ugly As I Seem - Kinda felt that. Red Rain - Alright. I’m Lonely - Finally peak. At its best when it commits to the blues. Also, beautiful album cover.
