Popular Reviews

The Bends by Radiohead

The bends is the most underrated record in Radiohead's discography. It is rarely discussed as being in the same tier as albums like Kid A and Ok Computer. However, while I admit it isn't quite as innovative as those offerings, in terms of sheer quality and listenability it is absolutely on that level.

Is This It by The Strokes
Jul 01 2026

Many of the individual tracks on this album are fairly weak, but the consistent and enjoyable style creates an listening experience that is better than the sum of its parts. Slightly overrated, but still excellent.

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Jul 02 2026

Elvis's voice is enjoyable for the first 5 minutes and excruciating for the next 45. The backup band cooked though.

Ill Communication by Beastie Boys
Jul 03 2026

An excellent mix of hip hop and rock influences. The lyrics can border on cheesy at times, but that is part of the fun. Also, I know this isn't exactly breaking any new ground, but sabotage is a banger.

Jul 06 2026

This album sounds like a young band still trying to figure out their sound. There are moments of pure brilliance, but there are also moments that make you scratch your head and wonder "who the hell thought this was a good idea".

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Jul 07 2026

This album rips. I can't believe it was released in 1991. It seems way ahead of its time.
