1001 Albums Summary

Great vocals. Good, smooth, relaxing sunday evening music. Good variety in songs, a couple of classics: Chain of fools and 'You make me feel'. Not much more you can ask for in a soul record. Brilliant

Catchy, easy listening. But won't stick with me. Feels like something that was very important at the time, but now doesn't seem as interesting because of how early and influential it is.

Brilliant, starts out with a bang. Cohesive album, fun with great vocals, over the top.

Catchy, I thought there would only be a couple of good songs, but I liked them all and enjoyed the whole album. Blitzkrieg bog might even be one of the weaker songs
