1001 Albums Summary

There is an incredible ease to the virtuosic songwriting of sir Stevie. I am consistently impressed with every new track I hear. Genre blending, beautiful piano based songs. There’s a reason we studied this record in history of rock & roll. I look forward to diving into key of life and hearing Tal’s favorites. Each song is different and equally impressive. Aside from the hits, big brother and maybe your baby stand out to me instrumentally. Harmonica based tracks are rare to find!!

Love. Alabama while flying over a Texas thunderstorm was the perfect backdrop for this record. Perfect for a sleepy flight. Interesting bells and harmonies. Great writing. Timeless. Recorded live? Regardless I see why this is touted as such an incredible record.

Redundant with some very good tracks! The tempo and songwriting blended for me

I can’t stand REM’s voice. Songs are decent, but I can’t say I enjoy it

4.5 stars! Nostalgic, pop punk with some fantastic songwriting. Just a little too punk for me to give it a five. As close to five stars as you can get, I just don’t connect with it enough to give it a 10/10
