Mothership Connection by Parliament
Jul 20 2026

It definitely has a groove that’s fun to get into. Though it’s the same groove on most of the songs. And most songs don’t have much going for them in lyrics, with only one song that’s catchy. I like the dude talking in the first song, but otherwise the song is very random. I’m not (yet?) into funk, I guess.

Queen II by Queen
Jul 21 2026

You can hear the early operatic coming in, but it doesn’t yet have the sewing guitar solos or a consistent theme or big hits. Fun to see the progression, but I doubt this is an album going to listen to a lot.

Opus Dei by Laibach
Aug 09 2026

Interesting and kind of fun but weird and probably not something I would seek out to listen to, but you can definitely see where ramstein came from

Queen Of Denmark by John Grant
Aug 10 2026

At first it seemed very generic soft alternative, then the lyrics hit. Where Dreams Go To Die was great. Gets a little boring toward the end of the album. But I’d listen again

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Aug 11 2026

Some nice guitar and melodies. But total background music
