1001 Albums Summary

I did like it, but it didn't wow me. But I think that's the point of the album. It's very non offensive; he doesn't take any risks with sound of delivery, which might (?) be a good thing.

I fucking love Steely Dan

Sounded very evil. I do like some radiohead but I wasn't a fan of this one.

I was very pleasantly surprised. I really liked the sound, it sounded very modern, in a way? Which I guess means it sounded REALLY new for 1993. Anyway great album I especially loved the Chet Baker cover.

First two songs were nails on a chalkboard level bad, the rest I though were pretty good. Some of the later songs sounded like Geordie Greep's "The New Sound", something about Bowie's voice and the jazz, I guess. I feel like it's hard for me to rank this album since I haven't really listened to any other David Bowie (so it's hard for me to say what this really means as an album, since it's his last), but I liked it. Especially the last song.

I liked it very much, I just wish the songs were longer! My problem with this album is that the songs never seem to go anywhere. Most of them have really catchy hooks, but seem to just stay there.
