1001 Albums Summary

Really not my kind of thing, but certainly a pleasant enough listen. Perhaps too easy to listen to, this album doesn't really spark any interest or excitement in me, or challenge me in any way, which i guess it doesn't really need to. 'It's Too Late' is pretty good, and its nice to finally hear the song that spawned a line I've been hearing for basically my whole life albeit without any context.

I was very into Beastie Boys back in middle school, so this is a nostalgic listen but not something I would listen to these days. My brain has been too fried by all the experimental and industrial hip hop I listened to in high school for this style of rap to really do much for me. Great production though.

Very familiar with this album! Many songs off of this have been favorites of mine in the past, 4th Of July and Black Hole Sun were both absolutely foundational to my music taste as a teen. Phenomenal album.

idk, i find jazz kinda boring. this is nice enough though
