Foo Fighters by Foo Fighters
Jul 29 2026

We got approximately 8 seconds of silence before anything started. Fun riffs in the intro song tho very funkayyy. The vocals sound kinda scuffed but still good. With the second song, "I'll stick around", the style is very reminscent of Nirvana with a far grungier sound. Brilliant chorus with some very fun guitar. Song 3 is short and very boring. Song 4 returns with that nirvana sound. Song 5 has a nice instrumental and decent vocals, ok riff but not that interesting. Floaty (song 6) gives heavy deftones vibes in terms of vocals. It has a very fun riff around the chorus but not that interested in the chorus itself. Song 7 has a great riff throughout the song and an interesting effect on the vocals that makes it sound like hes constantly screaming. Probably my favourite on the album so far. Song 8 sounds a lot more like modern foo fighters but is very boring. Song 9 has a nice leadup into the chorus but the song feels flavourless. Song 10 was boring. Song 11 is super punchy and raw. Has really good sound production, also sounds like a more modern foo fighters song. Final song has a melancholy, depressing grunge sound. Very outro-beat type outro song. Has some interesting noise-rock influences towards the end. Also sounds weirldy muse-like, but in a more upbeat way.

21st century schizoid man sounds super cinematic. Brass instruments sound super clean. I talk to the wind sounds super boring. Epitaph is good. A little slow, but sounds nice to the ears. Self title "Moonchild" is chill, but the songs included on top of the track are straight ass. It sounds like the band ran out of inspiration for a 12 minute song and played random keys on a keyboard for the rest of the song. Final song had some fun instrumentals going but it faded out to background noise rather quickly. Unimpressed, didnt really enjoy this one that much.

The Scream by Siouxsie And The Banshees

The whole thing was background noise. Uninteresting.

I love how chaotic and screechy the background instrumentals constantly sound. It was good start to finish, very constant. No highs but also no lows. Enjoyed overall.

You're Living All Over Me by Dinosaur Jr.

Really cool album start to finish. Bit of a grungy sound to it, great instrumentals with awesome guitar solos and cool noise rock influences. Indie rock in the 80s riffed way fucking harder than modern indie.
