1001 Albums Summary

The first song wasn't really my jam, but in hindsight it was a good warm-up track for the later ones to hit all the harder. Since I was multi-tasking, listening while cleaning I can't remember which song it was that really had me jamming along so I'm gonna give it a 2nd listen. Run to The Hills was the song that really had me jamming the first time. Instant add to my liked songs playlist. The Number of the Beast was also a highlight of this album for me. I think overall, I'm giving this album 4 stars because while not every song spoke to me in the way a couple did, I did find myself jamming along and never did it even cross my mind to skip a track.

Bittersweet Symphony is a classic and I've never heard another song from this album which is a shame cause while it's more easy listening than I usually choose, they are some chill vibe songs. Just took a night time stroll while listening and decided this is an album for a chill walk which is not something I typically listen to music for, but for this album I'd make an exception.

While not my taste for the most part, I did enjoy that every song in this album actually told a story that was fun to follow. I've always enjoyed Sea Shanties for a similar reason. Many of the songs in here reminded me of the early Tremors movies, and of course Westerns in general. Enjoyable even though I probably won't be coming back.

This album was not for me. Way too laid back and relaxed for my taste.

Great quality of music but not to my taste, best played as background instrumental music.
