1001 Albums Summary

had of course heard this before. so special - the big, bombastic songs like running up at that hill, the title track, the big sky and cloudbusting are all classics; the title track is probably my favourite of the bunch with its panicked triumph. the quieter moments towards the end of the album, and especially watching you without me, stood out this time.

perfectly listenable and elevated by the occasionally more unusual vocal performance from pop. vocals are mixed too high, guitar is undeniable and overall effect is not much to me.
