1001 Albums Summary

Feels like I'm lacking context of quintessential white boy rock in order to know how I truly feel about this album. I pretty consistently floated between deeply bored and mildly interested during this album, partly because it just sounds unremarkable. The musicians are clearly talented on their instruments, but it still felt like skillful background noise to my ears. But truly, that's why I feel like I'm likely missing the context of how original and/or influential this album and sound may be in the grand lexicon of rock or whatev. I found myself liking certain elements or sections of songs but never enjoying any songs in their entirety. Tiring to listen to lol
