1001 Albums Summary

a 3-star for me, but the kind that is intriguing enough and unfamiliar enough to myself that upon second listen it could just as easily drop to a 1-star as it could rise to a 5-star.

i'd never listened to the allman brothers before this, but now im asking myself why not! truly lifechanging album, one that demands the respect to be blasted on the good speakers, to the extent it feels disingenuous to listen to it through airpods. best example of blues i've ever heard, and the first lead guitar in a long time i've been truly wowed by. like stop what i'm doing levels of wow.
