1001 Albums Summary

Solid. A bit repetitive in sections due to the track length. Not my style, but I can appreciate how high level the musicality is. Marking it harshly comparitave to the set of albums it sits amongst, not becasue its a bad album.

Enjoyed. Felt instantly familiar. Started strong and tapered off a bit - clearly very influential.

Unreal. Production and beats are super original. Lyrics are awesome - delivery even better. In the context of modern rap it’s a simplistic, but iconic for a reason.

Just not my thing. I found the skits lame and the borderline comedic lyrics also lame. That almost camp version of rap is to me just lacks purpose.

Great album with some absolute monster peaks. I did the extended version which was a bit much. Some reading and I can see this would have been revolutionary for its time.

Cool vibes throughout. Some real standout tracks and feels either like it was a major influence, or was majorly influenced by a stack of bands I'm more familiar with. Enjoyed.
