pretty terrible writing. Decent vibes. Strong to light 5.

Masterpiece obviously, but just not quite my vibe. Too happy. Solid 8.

It's an interesting time capsule and it has good moments, but it's not really my thing.

I mean, it doesn't strike me as great. I don't care for her vocal colour. I think her vocals are too forward in the mix. The sort of dark repetitive, trancey vibe is alright, but not quite my vibe. It has like a late-80s feel to much of it. I'm sort of undecided, but also don't think I'll come back to it. Part of it reminds me of Minski, who I really like, but somehow this just isn't getting there for me. Like Minski and Kate Bush. Plastic is a cool song. Really don't like Deep Water. Machine Gun sucks too, and I like a lot of really discordant music. Magic Doors is nearly unlistenable.

meh. I just don't get why it gets so much praise.

Pretty good, but sort of basic rock/americana and I'm not a huge fan of Tom Petty's voice colour delivery. He has like a weird twang on his vocals.
