1001 Albums Summary

I just couldn't help but think of the "it insists upon itself" Family Guy meme. I understand the artistic merit of something like this and respect the commitment to the concept. The orchestration is nice and I have to give him props for the songwriting. There are individual songs that I like, but as an album, I'll likely never listen to it again.

I'm not one to turn away a slow and moody album, but everything about this album is so subdued. Nothing stands out and the songs blend together, becoming repetitive. It's just kinda boring.
