1001 Albums Summary

One of my favorites from my youth. Just a wall of guitar sound, but not like in the hair metal bands. The mix really captures the feel of a band that worked these songs out on the stage. There were some fantastic albums that came out of this era. This was one of those weird periods of time where the music I liked suddenly become popular.

Can hear the influence on bands like Queens of the Stone Age and Black Mountain.

Fun album. Not my normal style, but I enjoyed the listen.

I liked the Sam Cooke record better than this one. Seriously great musicianship here, but this just isn't for me.

Definitely a classic album. One of those you just put on and enjoy. Solid songs all the way around.
