1001 Albums Summary

4.75 <3 I really liked the compositions, but I found myself not always convinced by the rap--not my style, though I do objectively appreciate it. The music is awesome. The instrumentals are super creative and draw inspiration from a broad variety of genres. They brought a lot of vivid imagery and associations to my mind as I was listening. The Doors, Led Zeppelin, etc. I saved quite a few of the tracks into my library. Very worthwhile listen overall.

Wow, I couldn’t wait for it to be over.

Quite a cool album although I have not found anything more for myself other than the two I had already known and enjoyed (Shout and Everybody Wants to Rule the World)

Brings about nostalgia, as it is one of the bands my dad would listen to when I was a kid. But it also is not music that appeals to me. Individual songs, one at a time I can appreciate, however, I would not choose to engage with a full album. They sound a bit too repetitive to me and in the end, the sound is much more country than I like.

Enjoyed the whole album, although not all of it stuck in memory. White Rabbit and Somebody to Love <3

My teenage years were spent listening to Led Zeppelin’s whole discography and wishing I’d meet a your Robert Plant lookalike

Never again
