Jazz, too complicated for me

It's a great album, the originator of dark synth. There is a strong influence in future works of this genre. Perhaps he's not so strong for our time, but for that time it was a clear breakthrough in electronic music.

The album itself is average. He can't boast of a "new" sound, the band has clearly returned to their past achievements. Considering that the band was falling apart at the time of the album's recording, the recordings came out very well. So we can definitely say that the album determined the style and future fate of the band. Nevertheless, the album feels very weak right now. Maybe Sympathy For The Devil and Street Fighting Man sound good even now, but for me personally, the whole album seems much weaker than the band's other works, and even more so modern music.
