It's alright. Bowie at his Bowie-st. It has that coked up dancey feel that is prevalent through the mid 70s to early 80s in Bowie's discog. The famous Thin White Duke, and many of Bowie's legendary excesses, are associated to this album, and you can tell by listening to it. It sounds like what it is - the result of many strung out nights spent chasing flashes of inspiration. The album has a surprisingly sunny and cheerful sound, with a deep tiredness behind it. It is the sound of pretending you're still having fun on the 8th hour of the party.
