1001 Albums Summary

Is this it? Just kidding - fun, snappy album but just lacking a little depth for me.

A fairly average album elevated by that still-timeless closing track.

Was a stone cold 10 in my youth but re-listening with the benefit of age it is a tad repetitive and almost too cute in places. London Calling is vastly superior but that’s not a knock on this album - an excellent, compelling debut that set the groundwork for better things to come.
