1001 Albums Summary

The Queen of Soul and the Queen of Yearning! She is down bad but taking absolutely no one’s shit. This album is raw and emotional. Powerful vocals, beautiful instrumentation, honest lyrics - I couldn’t think of a better album to kick off my 1001 album journey!

Chili Peppers aren’t really my style and this album didn’t make up for that - but still decent just not my thing!

Could sit and listen for hours. A great album to have in the background eating dinner, doing art, driving, etc etc. Pure genius!
