Fresh thoughts. I find this album very new to me. It almost feels like stepping out to a whole new city when you had no clue what is going on. And honestly, that’s how fun it is. I didn’t really like super really like it, but I think it’s still great. It was not my kind of music, but I think I might like it the more I listen to it. The album also have to know an inside joke so I could laugh. I did not know who The Thin White Duke is. I had to research a lot of things about it. The character Bowie invented and stuff. I did not like the full fascist persona tho, but Bowie said it was theatrical play. TVC 15 was confusing at first, but I researched what it is and the meaning was interesting and fun. “Wild Is The Wind” is my top pick for this album, maybe it’s because I’m much more familiar to me in some way. I did a lot of research to get the hype about this album, it was really new to me. Honestly, I did not really get it, but thanks to some Reddit peeps I learned to appreciate his artistic creations. Station to Station is one of those albums with the most distinctive songs, it feels different every track. It’s a rollercoaster. Nothing sounds alike, that’s the best thing. I agree with this opinion that I read from Reddit. Overall, it was a nice experience. This is my first time trying 1001 and I’m really glad I did. Station to Station wasn’t really something I really much liked. But it’s good to still try to listen. And I had my best pick.
