1001 Albums Summary

8/10 - classic thrash album, but not my favorite Metallica record. Love the more melodic parts (Sanitarium, Orion) contrasted with the more traditional riffs.

Love the keyboard melodies and the mix of pop vocals with fuzzy bass and guitar. Nostalgic album.

First time I listen to an entire bossa nova album. Love the female vocals and the trumpet. It does feel a little bit repetitive but I am sure it is because I am not at all used to the genre - much like a non-metal fan would think all metal sounds like angry noise. But great vibes that make me feel like I am on the beach at sunset!
