1001 Albums Summary

its an okay album but room for growth & pub rock isn't my thing

the album was a VERY nice jazz album. I personally enjoyed the thing throughout from start to finish, especially with some of the highlight songs like "Diminuendo in Blue" and "Jeep's Blues". Some of the songs do tend to feel slow and drag at times as well as a few filler songs that feel unnecessary. That takes away a little bit from an overall excellent jazz album that I enjoyed a lot

goated album and interesting niche

It's honestly a great album from Metallica, a staple of the metal genre. Each piece was unique in its own way and had me on the edge while still exploring highly mature themes like manipulation and deceit, but the heavy metal did feel annoying to me at times personally(the music was fine, I just wasn't feeling metal when listening to this). That drags this to a firm 9/10(not out of 10 so ill round up to 5/5), just an excellent album all-round Highlights: Master of Puppets, Battery, Damage, Inc.

I personally don't really like the rock music genre but this was a standout album and I liked it pretty well. A fair 3.5/5(rounds up to 4)
