I'll just leave it to Thom to review it with some out of context lyrics: "Oh, it's the best thing that you've ever had The best thing that you've ever, ever had" 5/5
And if I could be who you wanted If I could be who you wanted All the time All the time My 43-year-old teenage angst comes crashing back like a tsunami. Searingly epic, downbeat then downright sad, spectacular and then 'Street Spirit (Fade Out)' Awesome, almost too good for coherent words. 5 / 5 stars.
So this album is perfect. Every track could have been a single. It’s my 4th favourite of theirs because, well, they’re Radiohead and they did a lot right. Street Spirit is the best closing track by a band that specialises in closing tracks. This whole album is a happy place. 10/5 Immerse Your Soul In Love
My favorite album by one of the best bands of the late twentieth and early twenty first century/. A band at the cusp of reinventing rock. It’s epic.
