Incredible final statement from one of the greatest ever to do it.

This masterpiece—to me, an admitted George disciple—outshines even the pinnacle of the many perfect Beatles records.

Outside of "Here Comes Your Man," I wasn't really familiar with this album. But after five plays over the last couple weeks, it seemed to grow on me each time. Great record that I'm happy to add into the rotation.

Classic front to back, perfect meld of punk rock and heavy metal. Minus a point for "Jailbait."

It's not quite TNT but it's still fantastic and very unique.

As a hard rock album, it's fine. More hard rock bands in the '90s could have used Kirk Hammett. But knowing what they'd done and where they were going, hard not to resent almost everything about this album.

Not a big Cave fan generally, but on this one he seems to lean into everything I like least about him, without any of the payoff.

I'm all for maximalism but the Beatles and Dylan barely had enough grade-A shit for double albums. Zep...did not.

A great record, front to back, and my introduction to one of my favourite songwriters. A 4 only because I think he surpassed it both before and after this record.

My favourite Nick Drake album. "Three Hours" is probably his most impressive, hypnotizing guitar playing and "Cello Song" is just perfect. Great flow to the tracklist and perhaps the greatest acoustic guitar tone ever recorded.

Very good album. Not their fault "Smoke on the Water" became every learning guitarist's first riff and soundtracked every visit to every music store for the next five decades. "Highway Star" and "Space Truckin'" are fantastic bookends. Don't think Iron Maiden would exist without this.
