Another one of my mother's influence, I listened to a descent amount of Cocteau Twins growing up, albeit I can't remember which albums, so this may or may not sound familiar. I have a particular love for Garlands, so I expect to like this album a lot. 'Iceblink Link' is a song that evokes a lot of nostalgia, so I can comfortably conclude I have listened to this album before. What I love about this album is the undercurrent of new wave goth is there but it has this more optimistic and melodic sound throughout. The ambiguous lyrics add to it well, and it has nice highs and lows.
