Alright, let’s deal with elephant in the room first. That album cover is…fucking amazing 🤩. Is that a thunderstorm wearing a hat? Is the hat causing the storm over city or did it just happen to be floating by? Is the hat passing by a volcano, or did it catch the buildings on fire with lightning strikes causing the plumes of smoke? What would cause a seemingly normal hat to attack a city this way? Was this hat inspired by jihadi message boards? Why are only one of the leaves wet? Did that hat eventually find its way to the Beer Baron? Sadly, the album answers none of these questions. It’s a weird little smooth jazz album with a mix of songs that could be an 80’s TV theme song, soft core porno background music, and one bongo drum tribal song. I don’t know what to make of this, but 3 ⭐️ for the cover alone
