First time willingly listening to Buddy Holly at all, can definitely understand how women from the 50s would go crazy over him. I think it's perfectly fine and representative of the time, and I can definitely hear the influences. I'd put it on this list for sure, it's a classic, however not sure if I'd ever listen to this again.
