The Stranger
Billy JoelAwesome mix of storytelling, pop piano, and Americana. I’d heard many of the songs on this album before but never listened to the entire thing in one sitting.

Meh
This album was much stranger than I remember. I think if it were released today, many would consider it 'experimental'. I did enjoy it. But some of the songs were a little disjointed from the general vibe of the album.

This album starts out sounding like The Beatles and then grows into something like a slightly more punk rock version of that. A great listen.
Probably one of the best solo piano albums I’ve ever listened to. But solo piano isn’t really my jam.
Mostly instrumental, this album starts off a bit strange and disconnected but ends up with a solid stretch of unique rock instrumental songs.
I think if War showed up on the music scene today they would quickly become pretty popular in the jam band community. This album is quite good. It's funk and rock and some of the songs are real bops.
I did not enjoy this. It’s was poetry-ish. Kind of spoken word-y. Not bad maybe, but definitely not my thing.
