Very relaxed ambience, but suffers from sounding like one long song instead of an album of songs.
Punk rock. Feels a lot like the rebellious emotions of the band are poured out as songs, which evidently resonate with a lot of people because the album is very popular. I did not resonate as much, and I did not enjoy it that much.
Very innovative for its time, as it sounds much more modern than its release date implies. However, it does not contain many memorable moments throughout its runtime (to me, at least). The vocals are at times unintelligible however the instrumentals are good throughout. The last two songs contain a significant shift in mood though, to be fair.
Deserves a 3.5; Very easy listening with some standout songs such as the opener, or 'Get on the Floor'.
Not many individual highlights. Good album but did not catch my attention during the first listen.
Deserves a 3.5. Very smooth throughout with some great songs. Very relevant racial messages even from a 1969 album. At times sounds a bit repetitive.
Quite good. Sometimes chaotic.
