1001 Albums Summary

Stylistically inconsistent and occasionally annoying, but hasn't aged poorly and was still quite fun.

At worst it sounds like watching your 75 year-old relative getting remarried, but at its best it is a gorgeously arranged chamber pop album.

A self-contained universe

There's so much going on here but this is sonically amazing stuff to come from the late 60s.

I'll need more listens because I think I get the hype but I'm not too sure... It sounds fairly timeless, though
