Q-Tip
Super funky hip-hop album by an artist I'd never encountered before. I really, really enjoyed it. I was a bit hesitant at first as I'm not a huge fan of a lot of post 90s hip-hop, but every song felt like some banger that I'd known all along. Outstanding album with some really introspective and interesting themes & lyrics.

The Smiths
The Smiths are an outstanding band, though I do not feel this is an outstanding album. The songs within just don't go punch for punch with many of their other albums. It's still great music, just leaves something to be desired.

This is definitely not my cup of tea. I usually enjoy funk & soul but this just didn't take itself seriously enough for me. A ton of repetition both lyrically and musically that made each song feel very samey and kinda' boring.

Jimi Hendrix
Outstanding album, especially for a debut such as it is. I think by modern standards, it is maybe a little long in the tooth, but pretty much every song is a classic.

Burning Spear
Lyrically a very impressive album. Releasing this in the west in the 70s was very bold and must've been incredibly difficult. Musically, it just isn't for me. I find reggae super repetitive even in the best instances and this entire album suffers from the same issues I have with almost all reggae.

Aerosmith
Aerosmith are not my jam at all. I listened to a few songs on the album but couldn't finish it. A lot of Classic Rock to me is bland and repetitive and some of the lyricism is gross. Aerosmith are not a musically great band and this album is testament.
