Extremely idiosyncratic and hard to get into, but memorable in a good way.
Not bad, but New Order has better albums.
It's weird and enjoyable, but Air certainly has better albums.

A weird but unique album; gets lumped in with post-punk a lot but in my mind is pretty distinct from that style. Not 'top of all time' territory, but definitely an album I know I've enjoyed listening to over and over again.
Didn't enjoy it enough to get more than part of the way through.
Characteristic, precise, memorable-- a really good band hitting the peak of their creativity.
DMR has an interesting and characteristic sound-- I really like the use of horns and strings-- but the album does sort of drag at times. It's good, but I don't know that it made me really feel compelled to come back to anything other than 'come on eileen'
Rough and dirty, but also fun and energetic. I liked the energy of the album, but on the other hand I didn't feel like it had a lot of really memorable songs aside from Rise Above and TV Party. It's pretty well-executed for hardcore punk, but maybe just not exactly one of those albums you sit down and listen to while working. At least not until we graduate from 'standing desks' to 'workplace mosh pit', which would DEFINITELY have to be post-COVID
