1001 Albums Summary

Hated it. Total drivel.

Enjoyable enough but nothing that makes it standout. Suffers from lots of bands coming after that do it slightly more to my taste.

Have a massive aversion to cover albums but it did make me want to listen more to someone I've never really looked into before, so a success of sorts

Suffers from not being Treasure, but its Cocteau Twins, so its well above listenable

Quite enjoyed it as a background album, did not enjoy when I tried to listen properly. Bit nothing-y.

Like nearly all SY albums Ive listened to, it just does nothing to me. I wish I liked them, I really do. Feels like the first run through of ideas and not tightened up or built on.

Not real my thing but wasnt painful to get through, and can appreciate something different

The most stripped down parts of metal before it became overblown and stodgy. Sounds great as an album.
