pretty good. some classic well known tracks no doubt. some GREAT MCing, run dmc were clearly ahead of their peers on that front.
listened to this many times before. prog rock classic, but not an album i'll find myself returning to frequently.
really enjoyable! first time listening to supper furry animals.
super clean sound. despite the odd time signatures it's very listenable.
record is just not for me. i like noise but the noise on this record is not pleasant? i dunno.
loved it. really enjoyable, definitely a continuation of what REM started with jangle guitar college radio music.
"homeward bound" is a good "the road" song: "Tonight I'll sing my songs again I'll play the game and pretend But all my words come back to me In shades of mediocrity Like emptiness in harmony I need someone to comfort me" ^^^legit goes hard as fuck "a simple desultory philippic" is pretty dope. almost like a less funny weird al doing a dylan parody. even name drops dylan (and dylan thomas). at the end of the song he even just says "FOLK ROCK". i appreciate how short this is. 28 minutes! and i enjoyed it more than i thought i would. really nice production value for the era.
