Imagine
John LennonObviously excellent. Oddly, he showed this first to some guy, I forget who. “Imagine” was originally a B-side on that tape.

Excellent.
Early 2000s Atlanta was clearly such a fun place to make a record, but this guy really benefitted from Dangermouse. The music of the early 2000s shows us how advanced the present always seems, and looking back, how primitive the present is. I like that the album is good enough to get us to ignore the somewhat rudimentary production, but this is no Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.

I jus’t don’t love cocaine enough.
Excellent.
I heard “Over the Hills” first covered by a slew of great bands in a documentary called “Austin to Boston”. This album is... fine. Excellently ignorable. This album is like... excellently ignorable, but many of the tracks could also serve as the background for a montage, should you be experiencing one.
The beats are all annoying. I didn’t finish.
Masterpiece.
