The Stooges
The StoogesNot bad, but a lot of the songs were kinda boring. Like that one that just dragged on and on… why??

Some really fantastic production. 10cc always seem to have fun and this album was no different. They don’t take themselves too seriously and I think that opens up some creative fun that turns out really good sometimes. Highlights were Hotel and Old Wild Men.
Not good. Weird electric stuff and not fun.
Some pretty good rock with fun songs. Not exactly my type of rock, and maybe that’s just because the vocalist isn’t my favorite, but it was still great. Instrumentation is fantastic, let those guitars flyyyyy
I love Brian Eno’s ambient work but haven’t ventured much into his earlier rock. There are hints of brilliance here and there, but it’s just not the easiest to listen to. There’s a time and place for this album, and that’s hard to know when. Favorite: Golden Hours, Everything Merges With the Night, The Big Ship Least Favorite: In Dark Trees
Now this album was fun. This is more my kinda rock, jangly guitars and all. Fantastic production and style overall. Get some Bowie and Led Zeppelin vibes here and there, which is awesome. Plus it has Seven Nation Army ‼️‼️‼️ Favorite song: Black Math
Quite boring in my opinion. Everything kinda sounded the same and nothing really stuck out as great. Vocals are weak too.
Absolutely fantastic album. Stipe’s vocals and Mills’ bass are just killer. Not to mention the fantastic Beach Boys harmonies here and there. It may not be R.E.M.‘s best work, but it does pretty well to showcase all of their strengths. Besides It’s the End of the World As We Know It, highlights are Exhuming McCarthy, Strange, and The One I Love.
It’s something I would probably never listen to, but I really enjoyed it. It’s got some fun songs here and there. You can definitely see how they influenced some of the newer hip hop and rap.
