1001 Albums Summary

I went to see the 20th anniversary tour for Transatlanticism and I will never forget the dude behind me yelling "I lost my virginity to that song" when Death Cab played Title and Registration. Do I think this is really get it on music? Maybe not, but its a damn good album.

Ouch, the first track almost had me turning this off. Thankfully it gets a little better. The beginning of Too Real is so good but then it goes off the rails. His voice and the way he talk sings just ruins the music for me. Television Screens is a standout for me but mostly because he doesn't talk through the whole thing. Music = 4.5 stars, Voice = 1.5 stars so I guess I am sitting barely at a scant 3 stars.

Nice, but maybe too nice (mellow) for me to revisit often.

I guess it's the theater kid inside, but I kinda love this.
