One of my favourite albums of all times. I’ve listened to this album cover to cover so many times. So many bangers that I don’t know which is my favourite. Bomb track is a killer start, killing in the name is an anthem, take the power back and wake up are great. Know your enemy gets me going every time.

I don’t think I’ve heard this band before. This album started a bit depressing and emo but some of the last tracks were more upbeat. I feel like ash, who I listened to in my youth, was influenced by my bloody valentine. A 90s Irish band influenced by an 80s Irish band sounds right.
My sisters listened to this album on repeat for about 2 years during my teens. At the time I hated it, probably because of the amount I’d heard it at home but also on the radio. The fact that my sisters liked it probably added to it. As I’ve aged, I’ve mellowed to it and it’s now just nostalgia from my youth and I can appreciate the album more. Lots of catchy tunes, lots of angst lyrics
Pretty boring. Ok I guess. I don’t get why it was acclaimed.
Fucking killer album. Saw him live at a festival when this came out and It was great. Still sing along with the accent.
A cool album. Some Joni Mitchell type folkie stuff and some nice bluesy rock and roll. I’d never heard of Fairport convention but I like their sound.
I quite enjoyed this one. Hadn’t listened to much grateful dead before. Might listen to some more.
