Born To Run
Bruce SpringsteenEight tracks! Do one, Kanye.
Eight tracks! Do one, Kanye.
Already liked it before, so pretty biased. Power Out, Wake Up – BANGERS.
Poor timing with some bleak allegations against Steven Tyler, but got to #TrustTheProcess. Listened all the way... passed me by a bit.
JET! Oooo-oooooo-oooooooo. JET!
Embarrassingly, I'd never heard of them... but now very glad I have. Jangly, surfy, hippy fodder that was clearly the inspiration for a mid-to-late-noughties band I can't remember. Inevitably called 'The' something. For fuck's sake.
Never listened to this before. Foot-tapping fun. Little Bitch is a nice detachment from a fairly similar-sounding album.
Classic metal – keen. Great opening track and keeps its energy throughout. Will be listening again.
Er, it's Queen. Bangers Central.
Another eight-songer (though track lengths make up for the lack of 'em). Older than the Hand of God, for some context...
It's no wonder they all got fucked off their tits on this at Woodstock. Unadulterated hippy.
Would I listen again? Probably, yeah.
Weirdly, never listened to this before. Should have.
Interstellar Overdrive is fun for a while, until the sound bloke on LSD goes off on one at the end. Then it can fuck off.
Initial thought: how many songs?! Good job The Undertones are ace... and many of them are short anyhow. Great fun rattling through this lot, it flew by. I love it.
Heard the first three tracks on it before, just not the album itself. Passed me by a bit in the end, but would happily listen again – I like Vedder's voice a lot.
So, so, so good.
... of its time.
