Revolver
BeatlesAn obvious one. One of the greatest albums ever. Stereo version still sounds kind of funny on headphones - need to check out Mono version again.

Definitely suffers from following up Revolver. I think S&G will always be a greatest hits band for me. America, Mrs Robinson, Hazy Shade Of Winter are all fantastic, but some of the slower tracks just feel really insipid.
It's a beautiful album, but just reinforces my awareness that I don't really understand jazz, as I can't really see what sets it apart from other great jazz records. I guess I need a deeper dive.
It's fine. I can't really get excited about Frank Sinatra, but it has a time and a place.
It's just not for me. Jump is great and I can see the influence on bands I like such as MLB, but I think as I wasn't into it at the time, it's going to be a struggle to get it now. Great to hear EVH's guitar playing properly though, even if it is masked in synth overload.
Love it. Reminds me of Minutemen. Need to get it on vinyl.
