Promise
My first album rating is a debut one, that's odd.
The sound signature is very organic and humble, looks like it's part of a rehearsal equipment, honestly I rather listen to instruments and records like this, the production may not be the better, but it gives a unique atmosphere for the whole project.
From "Violence" I guess it's a puzzle to the listener, how about put a kind of name with "Femmes", it reminds of 10CC for example. I really appreciate the folk here with essence off the period, most likely was Murmur by R.E.M. in the same release day though.
Viewing the art cover plus the content, I premiss that's a great way to start head all the entire thing, as you can see after almost 4 decades still their big deal carrying the rest of their career in the back, literally. B+
Limelight
Exposition of Sonus, when instead of Moving Pictures you are actually Keeping Captures.
This album made me a fan, so Rushium love starts and you must admit, the rest it's history, it was the first record of them in the list, so my headstart.
Cycle, it's like the music never stops or you can't describe which one is better than the other, because they're connected in some way, like when you're looking at paintings and the colours and textures mix all your senses in an image, in that case a sound.
Amount off quality, it needed only 7 pictures to fulfill their needs at the time, so it required only a colour to paint the town red.

It's not a second hand news if you listen after the first one.
Well, Fleetwood Mac at your greatest? It's what they'll tell you, but it was the mid centre of their history, delivering a massive licks and riffs throughout the years, I can tell it's very impressive at least.
But to achieve this goal it takes by 10 albums before their classics "Tango In The Night", "Tusk" (it's included on the 1001 list), resuming the facts there were rumours since the begging but the news arrived only at this point.
So it works by giving you the notice right after hook your attention in the other side, 11 songs for the eleventh album, you can't control that their best songs are on a side, when you got The Chain.

Welcome to another place where you are the instrument and all of the notes will sound like bends across your whole body, each feeling better than the previous one highly and softly, when even the pain you can control by the gain you receive.
But the release is the way back home, they just don't want you to know that so soon in your journey when we all know that the path is greater than the arrival at the finish line or the next station.
Hitch the gear up, let the pedal loose and grip the gas out of your tank, racing with your fears, tearing up your ears, as in a radio station your head is way too much tall than you can hardly believe in your own eyes.

Wings was my last discovery of Paul McCartney works and somehow one of the greatest to be honest, I really appreciate that it's my first to review when I'll have all the previous albums to listen to after this one.
Run was the 1973 word I think, it's all about run in that time, "no one told when to run", "the title of the album", well they didn't know that a band would be on a rush ever after this year.
How ironic is that this is the last from a member of the band in the list and it comes at me first, maybe I'm on the run to the other ones, I don't know but I'm not even close to the end and that comforts me along the ride I set.

Lynyrd Skynyrd - (Pronounced' Leh-'Nerd 'Skin-'Nérd)
Mississippi Kid
You have to pronounce it correctly, they're a rock band.
Well from their massive success in the debut one in tracks like "Free Bird" or "Simple Man", they're most of all the same receipt.
You're on a car trip around the east to west in America or a farm place away from the city, the music plays and neither the landscape or the motor running distract you when the songs play.
It's an excellent way to start as a band, it marks an age, it's historic and deserves it. Fly as a Free Bird is not for everyone, some enjoy some don't.

We're live, when you play in the studio is a thing, when you improvise live, there's another.
Blues, this is the first one up to review and the first live album too. What a way to start your weekdays, just woke up on monday morning, make breakfast while listening to the concert.
This is the one and only album from B.B. King and probably the unique Blues album, but when I get into the style, it was from another artist that unfortunately doesn't feature in the list (John Mayer and Stevie Ray Vaughan).
King leaves a legendary signature way to play the strings and your history in the stages, plus his style for what he always spoke of, is not how blue can you get, but how you feel it.

Since you drop the ball, it will roll all the way down, here it comes the whole mountain.
By the name Avalanches you might think it's a revolutionary group or a single artist showing another view in the morning, but when you're listening you start to understand why they get that name.
Assuming you're in that period of time you can mix anything with everything, that can be a massive success or a messing failure, let's put them in the middle of this scenario.
Fact is no one survives after an avalanche or gets out without a scratch, this one is here to prove how things can go after a natural-case-event. Don't get too acquainted with the situation, just let it go and try to learn new stuff.

Fall into pieces but not from a puzzle, it's a damaged person who can't control its feelings and emotions, lost all the way down, confused and wasting the energy in poison.
It's the contrast of working in who you're interested to look like or being yourself for a single little time, media telling the standards and stuff like that, well we consider that differently.
But as life's not a bed of roses, use its perfume and hang out with your friends, raise your black flag for the first time, as in 1981 the band took that attitude, leaving a legacy for generations. B-
Despair
Welcome to Japan, a place where the things are not as such as they said it, but it’s louder than it looks.
Keep calm and listen to the new wave, this band provides such as elements as in the whole 80s sold a bunch of records and different tunes from a lot of bands, names as a-ha, Duran Duran, Eurythmics, you name it.
Jealously of them to create a modern sound when their genre was quite unknowable at its time, the music industry was another, well, there were no limits of creativity and no edges neither frontiers.
Across the Pacific and surfing in Indian tides, they’re on the shore with a humble group of people playing their songs, people just don’t remember them as they deserve it.

Spicy but not liquor, funny how the fruit and the radio come out at the same time.
So it's a shame about Ray, isn't it?
A great soft rock / nearly punk album release at the beginning of the growing hip-hop songs and trash metal albums, being now for 3 decades a record lost in time and space.
I think that people are never satisfied, "songs too long (too short in this case)", "too many tracks on the album", "it's a shame because the tracks are the same" and stuff like that.
1992 was great year of music and certainly Lemonheads were one of the lost boys that hope people listen to, but they were focused in other names, well, it's a shame about them….

Liz Phair - Exile In Guyville

She lost herself on the way back home, trying to find any solution of where's north, to go opposite.
Rough vocals, grunge era and purple static, that's the recipe for an ordinary album in the middle of the 90s.
Few tracks connect stories that Liz told about Johnny and her affairs, during the same time the tracklist go up and down as the instruments and her vocals are rusting and tearing apart all the way.
Creating heroes, losing their minds and fame, while who takes the advice and glory is the one and only Liz walking alone in Guyville.

Your meal is served, Bon Appetit.
Don't look right onto it, you'll lose your complex of sense and probably all things went wrong after that.
You're on a holiday, you pack your things, get in the car and go on a road trip, you got a lot of albums in the beginning of the decade (1980), you can hardly choose, but this one in particular took your attention.
As the trees go behind, the horizon gets closer and wider, the songs grow well during your trip. The thing is: probably the album would play a few more times and if you are too focused with your eyes open, you wouldn't even notice the album on repeat.

If you ever got to call it by the name, you even name it as it must be.
Terms in a conditional form, debuting as almost 3 decades ago, there she goes shouting and playing random rhythm trying to be crazy and understandable at the same time.
If you're not into alternative music or maybe you can't quit the classics and get out of the mainstream media, there's a bridge between those 2 genres.
It's a breakthrough, revolutionary and confusing standard, those elements summed up in a record itself taking credit and debit in somewhat created to begin.

Back to the beginnings, as black and white as music can be, vintage.
There’s such as periods of time in history, that all went at once in some band or artist itself, Amy is the voice of 2000s, perhaps the last one such as iconic as it was, plus the genre that influenced so many others after her.
In your "I Told You I Was Trouble: Live In London" she can bring all the aesthetics from the 50s and 60s, (beside the fact that all of her drinks during the concert) which proves that she is a better artist live even than at studio.
And if all of it wasn't enough, she did in less than 5 years, with your 2 albums, showing that both went in so many albums lists, hope that her legacy deserve more and more while time passes.

It’s kind of rare to see those kinds of albums on the list.
Classifying types of different genres is always not an easy quest.
Unlikely the cover there in the middle “Imagine”, calls your attention immediately when you first listen to the introduction.

Adolescent period, age 16, you’re in High School, stuff like skateboards, parties, drinks, chaos, love & hate are the most used adjectives.
Mess, everything is under control out the way, throwing things all around the zone, people shouting, intensified when the rain starts, that makes any random situation sounds better than even Woodstock’s Events were someday.
Fun never ends, youth is going to be one of the moments in your whole life, don’t mess up, hurry up, it passes, bring all those memories, summed up it’s the record title.

Risk the stick, bang the drums, pour up the stage and release the phoenix.
Effect Hendrix, is when in this particular year (1967), music in general were meeting new ground and fortunately this become one of the most remarkable periods in music history.
Despite the fact that Jimi and his Left-handed White Stratocaster changed the way of how to play this instrument, the band itself worked so great together without so much effort, acting like naturally.
At first point that they place in their query upon the listeners, proving that answers to "if you have tried" something, no words needed, only real action.

Spelled a bit different we all know that the name band is an onomatopoeia “Crash”, it sounds remind us of it, the essence, discord, revenge, freedom and so on.
Revolution it’s a thing that impost in any kind of living society and its government, anytime will do, people are strange and they have rights to be.
Anyway, if you’re not to punk music, this period before the 80s, it was fulfilled around rough vocals and tiny songs, that leave a message in transit, as rapid as it can.

It’s a more folk album than it seems, you can bring 3 records before that, all summed up, mix everything in this one piece. Unfortunately this is the only Waterboys record on the list, it really makes wonder what’s come before and after the flood.

Halfway there, one step closer.
3 albums out of 5, 4 stars out of 5 it is, the self-titled has its magic where the artist real find their signature instead of (and most of the time) naming its first debut album a self-titled one.
Perhaps the band is relaxing on this one, they don’t care about what’s coming, they just want to freeze the legacy of this, along their path in music history. Either way, on the list this is the third and last one, leaving Loaded and Squeeze out.
This is a dawn album, you’re running late back home, leaving the party you just went too, starts remembering names, problems and what’s real life is. You can call it back from the beginning when Nico is invited to the party, White Light / White Heat is the party itself and the Self-Titled is After.
