Harvest by Neil Young
Dec 23 2021

It's a great listen, never paid attention to the more orchestral flourishes on this, and just a great listen. 38mins of any timescale well spent.

Synchronicity by The Police
Dec 24 2021

The Apple Music master isn’t great quality unfortunately but good to revisit this. The strength is in the old side b as it starts timidly and only gets good halfway through.

Abraxas by Santana

The Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden
Dec 28 2021

First Iron Maiden album I have ever listened to. I am 48. It wasn't terrible.

Very by Pet Shop Boys
Dec 29 2021

Mostly passed me by as a piece of work on original release. But has some great compositions therein. Some of the sounds have dated particularly on the uptempo pieces. But a good listen!

Raw Power by The Stooges
Dec 30 2021

Proto Punk. Garage Rock. Fuck whatever it gets tagged as. Let’s call it energy. Williamson’s guitar. Let’s not get into the mix debate (I listened to the Iggy mix). It’s nasty abrasive shit and I love it.

Rain Dogs by Tom Waits
Jan 01 2022

It compels you from the first moment and continues to enthral as you inhabit these words and stories and you can’t turn it off. It’s my favourite Waits but there is still so much to explore.

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Jan 02 2022

First time listening to this. Never discovered before. Last run of songs very melodic. Have added to playlist going forward. Nice.
