1001 Albums Summary

Elvis sounds great, essentially like a studio recording. The songs aren't for me, as they're not the most famous of his songs that I already know.

Pleasant enough to listen to, sounds very 70s. I think it's just not for me. I definitely prefer the first four songs over the rest.

A great album that seems to keep momentum all the way through. Forrest Gump is one of my favorite songs of the past decade. Pyramids is a 9 minute journey.

This is the Elvis I have always known and grown up with. I think I could listen to any song on this album and be happy.

I'm shocked I never listened to this album outside of Lovefool, but I guess I was too young at the time. Wow, this is a fantastic album and something that is right up my alley. This is exactly the type of music I love.

I think this isn't for me, but I can see why it is so highly regarded. The production is absolutely ace.
