Strangeways, Here We Come
The SmithsThe lead singer has such an unusual voice that I just can't get over. I've never liked Smith's songs I've heard before and this album, although interesting, was no exception

It's a classic for sure. I basically knew all the songs on the album.
I'm sure this was groundbreaking at the time but now it just feels tired and pretty samey. I'm not a big fan of these "old-rockers" and that's how this sounds to me even though they probably recorded it very young!
Very 60s. Couldn't stand listening to this
Pretty interesting. At least it was something I hadn't heard before. World / Jazz / Soul genres. I did skip the final track which appeared to be a never ending drum solo
Truly a great album. Some real classics on there. I'm not sure about the funk stuff though - does anyone actually like that?
Some good tracks on here but most of it is a bit generic
Can't say I liked this one very much
All very samey - warbling soulful singing that never real went anywhere. Album felt very long too. Looking at the album cover makes you think you'll get some fun out of this album, but sadly no.
Absolute load of shite. I listened to about 1/3 of this drivel
I actually rather enjoyed this
