This album put the band and punk itself on the map, Although punk was going well before this. Today it stands as one of the most influential punk albums to be recorded and probably thee quintessential punk album all time. Stand out tracks: Bodies, Submission and Pretty Vacant. FFO; The Clash, The Dammed, The Ruts.

Not a bad follow up from "The Kink Kontroversy" A nice little album that fits nicely between "Kontroversy" and "Something Else" Especially with some pf the song arrangements as they carry a certain theme throughout and The Kinks at the time were going from the furious early sixties sound to a more poetic storytelling kinda thing with more focus on a quaint English feel!

A good testament to CCR!!

Stand out album...

Great bench mark album, As this is where the style and sound progress from the snotty teen anthems of their first album! It's transition album from Licence To Ill to Check Your Head, Stand out tracks would be Looking down a barrel of a gun and Shake your rump.

One of his best albums!
