1001 Albums Summary

I get that she might have been a big deal in the 80s because of her high vocals but miss girl gave us nothing. Some songs had some really great melodies but they couldn’t shine because of her vocals. It was torture to listen to her work. I know I am not the target audience but I know how to appreciate a good album even if it isn’t my taste and this album just wasn’t it. It was boring and quite painful to listen to. I need to cleanse my ears with some good music after this.

This came as a breath of fresh air to me. It’s such a peaceful record that treats very important themes. I love everything about this piece of art. The music, the vocals, the lyrics. Everything is in perfect harmony with each other. I was pleasantly surprised and I am glad I came across this record.

When Ayesha Erotica said “I can give you Björk but you wouldn’t understand it” she was talking to me because I don’t really get her vibe at all. I might not be her target audience but I didn’t really enjoy this record. The music was great but her vocals didn’t sit right with me. Maybe this was the vibe on the 90s but now in 2022 it’s not giving much, for me.

I didn’t enjoy this record much not because it isn’t good but because it’s not what my taste in music gravitates against. For fans of the rock genre I can see how good of a record this would be for them but for me it’s really nothing special.

This is not the type of music I listen to too but I have to say it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. Mediocre at best.

Nothing special and not worth the time I wasted giving it a listen. The album is a whole mess. Different genres, different themes, just all over the place.

The definition of trying too hard and failing.

Because I listen and am a fan of this genre, I was expecting something more but I was let down. It wasn’t anything special, for me.

Not bad but not good. Painfully average.
